Kaisa ye pyar hai. Ekta Kapoor's latest soap to hit television screens caused quite a stir with its promos. Starring Iqbal Khan (of Fun2shh fame) and Neha Bamb as the lead pair, Angad and Kripa, this new serial is quite eagerly awaited especially since everyone would love to know whether it's the usual sappy sweet telly confection or the sour curd variety. We're all tired of those saas bahu sagas and Kaisa ye pyar hai seems to be just the breath of fresh air we were waiting for.

The story centers around Angad and Kripa. Angad is the ultimate heart-throb, winning female hearts left right and center with his music and dashing good looks. He doesn't believe in love, being the spoiled, brattish guy he is. Kripa on the other hand, is a small town girl. She is a dreamer and believes whole heartedly in true love. Her dreams of making it big in the world of music bring her to Mumbai where she meets Angad. Right from the beginning she loves his music and respects his art. But when they meet everything changes and Kripa discovers that vulnerable aspect of Angad's character that is capable of love.

You only have to watch the promos to know that this one will be different. The entire outlook and presentation is pretty eyecatching whether you're watching the handsome Angad at his guitar or Kripa dancing amid carpets of flowers. Everything about it seems fresh and appealing. The title track sung by Kunal Ganjawalla and Priya Bhattacharya is very interesting and hummable.
